A calmer mind, one small moment

For busy days, full heads and anyone who wants to feel a little more at ease.

A gentle way to begin

You do not need a special room, a cushion or a lot of time. Four small steps are enough.

  1. Pick one quiet moment

After a shower, before work, after you put the children to bed. A moment you already have works best.

  2. Start small

Two to seven minutes is plenty. A short sit you enjoy beats a long one you dread.

  3. Let thoughts come and go

Your mind will wander. Noticing that and coming back is the practice itself.

  4. Come back tomorrow

Missed a day? Simply start again. No streak to protect, no score to keep.

Want a guided start?

If you would rather be guided than sit on your own, we recommend Sadhguru’s free Miracle of Mind app. Here is what to expect.

  1. Install the free app

Miracle of Mind is on Android and iPhone. Our link takes you to the official download.

  2. Sit for seven minutes

Sadhguru guides you through a short meditation. Find a seat, put on headphones if you like, and follow along.

  3. Keep what helps

Use it daily, now and then, or not at all. Our guides and tools work either way.

Common questions

Is Blissful part of Isha Foundation or the Miracle of Mind app?

No. Blissful is an independent Malaysian website. We write our own guides and build our own free tools. We recommend Sadhguru’s Miracle of Mind app as one simple way to meditate, and we say so openly on every page that mentions it.

Do I need the app to use this site?

Not at all. Every guide and tool here works on its own. The app is there if you would like a short guided meditation, and many readers use only our timer, breathing pacer and guides.

Can meditation replace treatment from a doctor?

No. Meditation can be a helpful part of everyday life, but it is not a treatment for illness. If you feel unwell, very low or unsafe, please talk to a doctor. Our support page lists Malaysian helplines you can call today.

Is meditation against my religion?

Many people of every faith practise simple breathing and quiet sitting. Our guide on meditation and faith explains what a practice involves so you can decide for yourself, and you are always free to choose a different routine.

When you are ready for a few quiet minutes, Sadhguru’s free 7-minute meditation is a kind place to start.
